Bowman Academic Services
Derrick Bowman is a homeschool dad and has been teaching & helping homeschooled students for the past 11 years. He has received classroom training in the Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory approach to reading, has administered the Woodcock-Johnson test since 2008, and is a certified screener for Irlen Syndrome. Kelly Cavanaugh, NC Certified Teacher
Offers tutoring in all core middle school subjects including math. High School subjects: biology, chemistry, earth/environmental science, psychology, US and other histories. Also available for SAT/ACT/AP test prep and middle and high school study skills. Kelly is available for tutoring in person or via Skype/FaceTime between 12p-8p weekdays. Weekends can be arranged as well.

She also offers a personalized assessment for your child to pinpoint areas of strengths & weaknesses to determine specific needs and discern the most effective approach.
Kalyn Reynolds, Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on Mathematics from Wake Forest University offers tutoring in any level of math or social sciences. She is also proficient in Spanish and can tutor in that subject as well. Day and evening hours available.
